Baccarat
Baccarat is a simple card game where you bet on whether the Player hand or the Banker hand will be closer to 9, or if the round will Tie. No strategy decisions are required—you only choose where to place your bet.
How to Play
Place your bet on Player, Banker, or Tie. Two cards are dealt to Player and two to Banker. Card values: 10s and face cards = 0; Ace = 1; 2–9 = face value. Only the last digit of the total counts (e.g. 15 = 5). A third card may be drawn according to fixed rules. The hand closest to 9 wins.
Rules & Payouts
- Player win: 1:1
- Banker win: 1:1 minus commission (often 5%)
- Tie: typically 8:1 or 9:1 (check table)
- Third-card rules are automatic; no player choices
Tips
Banker has a slightly lower house edge, so many players bet Banker consistently. Tie has a high house edge—treat it as an occasional fun bet. Set a budget and stick to it; baccarat rounds are fast.
